ABOUT ME

This is a short review of my activities between 1981 and 2024 based on eyewitness reports :). I mean creative activities represented through medium of photography. I am a strong believer that nobody is born uncreative. We can all enhance our creativity through continuing to actively develop and train it. This is what I do:

Born on the 9th of September, 1981. Tbilisi, Georgia
I don't remember first 5 years
1998 - Graduated from Art school in Tbilisi, Georgia
October, 2011 - June, 2012 – Graduated from the Art Photography creative studio of Svetlana Pojarskaya in Moscow, Russia
July, 2011 – Exhibition participant of “Young Photographers of Russia 2011″, opened at the Museum of Fine Arts in Kazan. The exhibition was presented in several Russian cities.
July, 2012 – a winner of the competition “Young Russian Photographers 2012″. Exhibition and the International Youth Festival held in halls of the Chuvash State Art Museum
February, 2012 – Member of the Russian Union of Art Photographers
June, 2012 – Exhibition participant of “Perspective” at Moscow Photo Center, Gogol Boulevard
September, 2012 – Exhibition participant opened in St. Petersburg (the 10th anniversary of St. Petersburg Photovernissage)
October, 2012 – Exhibition participant of “Fotofever 2012″ – Brussels, Belgium
2016-2017- FAPA/Fine Art Photography Awards, portrait 2nd place winner.
September, 2017 - 2018 - Graduated from the "Free workshops for artists", Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA) school
December, 2017 - January, 2018 - Personal exhibition opening "The layers of the multidimensional space" at Design Zavod Flacon, Moscow, Russia. The exhibition was parted in three stages: I. Exploration of perceptions and 250+ people were engaged. II. Co-creation - we've created completely new art object and united all perseptions into a whole. The object was destroyed right after the performance. III. Exhibition.
August, 2018 - September, 2018 - Exhibition participant of "Systems of secret signs", opened at Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA). The exhibition is a special project of the 6th Moscow international Biennale of young art.
2019-2022. Stop. Divorce. Migration.
2023 - Back to my Georgian roots. How to start creative-projects again after a long break? :). Questioning. Creating again.
2024 - Making space for doing nothing :)
